Farewell for Ambassador of Sri Lanka His Excellency Malraj De Silva

The Sri Lankan community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates came together on 6th August 2022 to bid a heartfelt farewell to His Excellency Malraj De Silva, honoring his diplomatic tenure in the UAE. This event, attended by members of various Sri Lankan organizations, was a testament to the respect and gratitude felt towards His Excellency for his remarkable contribution and support to the Sri Lankan community during his time in the UAE.

During the farewell event, Mr. Ruwan Dammika Kahanthen, representing the Olcott Schools Alumni in UAE, presented a memento to His Excellency, along with other organizations, as a token of appreciation for his unwavering support and dedication to the Sri Lankan community. His Excellency Malraj De Silva, an alumnus of Olcott Schools and a distinguished old boy of Ananda College, Colombo, was deeply moved by the gesture and expressed his gratitude to all those present.
