Inaugural legends match between visited Srilankan Olcott Schools Legends & UAE Olcott Schools Legends match for the Bandula Warnapura Memorial Trophy was a main extravaganza of the day. Srilankan Olcott Schools Legends captained by Arjuna Ranatunga and UAE Olcott Schools Legends captained by Ravi Gunarathna; the UAE legends emerged victorious.

Sri Lankan Olcott Schools Legends Captain Arjuna Ranatunga won the toss and elected to bat first, scored 193/5 (20 overs), Asela Wewewala scored 98 runs in 33 balls including eleven sixes and five boundaries, Sanjaya Attanayake scored 41runs and Arjuna Ranatunga scored 20runs retired out, while Harsha Piyasiri has claimed the 2wkts.

The UAE Olcott Schools Legend chased the score of Sri Lankan Olcott Schools Legends convincingly 194/1 (19.1 overs). Old Anandian Dinesh de Silva scored 69runs, retired out including four sixes and three boundaries & Old Nalandian Arunalu de Silva scored 93not out including 10 sixes and four boundaries & put on the 160runs partnership for the first wicket.

Arunalu De Silva & Harsha Piyasiri of Olcott Schools Legend UAE adjudged as the Man of the Match & Best Bowler respectively & Asela Wewewala of Olcott Schools Legends Sri Lanka adjudged as the Best Batsman.
