Olcott Oration 2015: Unity in Diversity

The Sri Lankan Olcott Schools Alumni-UAE warmly commemorates another successful Annual Olcott Oration held on the 7th of October, 2015. Upholding a tradition that honors the visionary Colonel Henry Steel Olcott, this year’s oration was graced by the presence and wisdom of the distinguished guest speaker, Imthiaz Bakeer Markar, whose insights on leadership and service deeply resonated with the theme, “Unity in Diversity”.

Held at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel-Airport Road, the event commenced at 7:00 PM, inviting a gathering of intellects and enthusiasts keen on delving into the essence of mindful progression. The oration underscored the significance of learning from history to construct a future that embraces the values of leadership, community service, and educational excellence.

The Alumni association, representing a constellation of Olcott schools including Ananda, Dharmapala, Dharmaraja, Dharmashoka, Mahinda, Maliyadeva, Nalanda, and Rahula, extended a cordial invitation to all its members and well-wishers, promoting an atmosphere of camaraderie and intellectual growth.
